Tinder’s New Reaction Features

Tinder’s new reaction feature is more easier and fun for woman to express how they really feel about the guy. This features will help woman to combat male bad behavior on dating apps.

These reactions are designed by a woman working in Tinder. There are eight reactions a user can send to a person during conversation and five reactions exclusively for women. The reactions are really..?!, strike!, an eye roll, ball’s in your court and throw a drink.

This idea is that for sleazy men users on Tinder platform – which any woman can respond with one of these reactions to let men know they are crossing the limit. This feature seems suitable to filtering on Tinder app. These reactions could have potential to shame bad users and even Tinder knows it’s important.

How It Works?

Tinder users will see the new icon to the left of the GIF box that says reactions. Users can send the reactions in conversation by tap the smiley icon and scroll through the reactions then select your choice and send it to your match.

Instead of sending the text message, users can react with a single tap which it’s simple and satisfying. Users can use Tinder’s reactions at any stage of conversation, suitable for a wide spectrum of behavior – to a warning (send an eyeball) to a bold gesture (throw a drink in their face) from a gentle nudge (say “ball’s in your court!”).

As the Tinder team says these animated responses to reply is because, “Reactions speak louder than words”.
