Uber, one of the popular ride-hailing app successfully completed its 4 years of journey in India. One of the biggest competitor to the native ride sharing company Ola. 2.Call to ride option
Uber introduces another feature called “Call to ride” option, which was a pilot feature through which Uber gives a phone number to book the rides by the riders. The trip is connected to the drivers in the nearby riders locations.
3.Offline Search Feature
Uber brought this feature for riders with patchy internet connectivity. Using caching technology the riders can find their destination even in the no network areas.
4.Payment through UPI
Uber believes that payment innovations such as UPI are the future of payments in India. Uber is proud to partner with the government in its monumental mission to create digital payments led society and support the efforts to transform India into digital payments led society told by Apurva Dalal, Head of India Engineering.

5.Share my trip option
Rider safety has been one of the biggest concerns for ride-hailing apps and even Uber gives it a priority. The company recently launched two new features namely Driver ‘Share Trip’ feature, which allows riders to share their trip status with their contacts.
