Uber's New Service - Uber Flash

UberFLASH is a new services available to riders in Singapore to have a new option for faster, reliable rides at affordable prices. It matches riders with the nearest driver-partner, either a ComfortDelGro taxi or an uberX vehicle; reducing waiting time and getting riders to their destination more quickly and efficiently. It’s the collaboration between two companies to provide best service to the riders.

With the introduction of UberFLASH, Uber remains committed to ensuring a quality experience for all riders and driver-partners. Uber will maintain its high standards for driver-partners and vehicles allowed on the app. The other features that have contributed to a great Uber experience, including the mutual rating system and the customer support infrastructure, remains available and in effect to maintain these standards.

Efficiency Of Using UberFLASH For Drivers:

Following are the efficiency of using UberFLASH concept:

• Less Waiting Time

Drivers need not have to wait for their next trip, by their collaboration the driver will be busy always in their trip.

• Can Earn More

With Uber massive reach and increasing rider base, the booking rate is constantly increasing and so the driver can earn more with continuous booking.

• No Need For New App

Driver need not have to download new app for using this feature, existing app can help the driver to get booking from their collaborated companies.

Efficiency Of Using UberFLASH For Riders:

• No Waiting Time

Riders need not have any reason to wait if any Uber vehicle is not availble, they can accommodate the nearby collaborated car partners.

• Less Fare

Riders will be able to see UberFLASH trip fares upfront before requesting a ride. Fares will be, on average, 5-10% lower than uberX.

How UberFLASH Works?

• Open the Uber app
• Enter your destination under the “Where To?” section
• Select “UberFLASH” and tap “confirm UberFLASH”
• Your ride will arrive in a few minutes!
